Please Avoid.....
Placed and Paid for an Order on feb 18th
was notified saying my Order was dispatched
I now know that the order still has not even been processed and learn that the order will not arrive until March...They refused to cancel the order and Refund me...

"Avoid!"
Avoid. Order placed on 25th Jan. On 6th Feb I got an email saying they have issues with deliveries and that those should be resolved in "5-7 days". After a week I called customer care, they said that it's looking good and I should get an email with delivery confirmation soon. A few days later I got an email saying "we're unable to confirm a delivery date". Apparently the order was shipped (from where? China?) and for that reason I can't ask for a cancellation/refund. I can only return the items once delivered. Don't believe they ever will be.

"Avoid"
WERE a reputable company but that's totally changed. I placed a reasonably sized order on January 13th. The delivery was supposed to be by January 28th, which seemed slow but I thought I might get it sooner. How wrong I was!
Around the date it should've been delivered by, they changed it to January 30th. That passed, I contacted them. I've contacted a few times since. They're always looking into it. Customs have been blamed, delays etc.
The bottom line is that 5 weeks from ordering I've received 75cents worth of my order (and I only got that a few days ago). I'm still waiting on 99% of the order. I don't have a tracking number or an expected delivery date. I'm hoping to force them to actually dispatch the order, as opposed to more excuses, by putting on this review.
I would strongly recommend that anyone living in Ireland doesn't place an order with this company.

"AVOID. Do not order in Ireland"
AVOID
Holland and Barrett should be avoided. Their home delivery services in Ireland are unfit for purpose.

Long delays of weeks or months. Chat Bot reply’s to emails despite have two emails that two separate orders have shipped they have infact not shipped. I’m a long time customer however I’m going to look for an EU or Irish based retailer in future.

"I always have ordered from Holland and…"
I always have ordered from Holland and barrett and never had a problem always loved the products. I ordered stuff after Christmas and some of the things I ordered were out of stock and I got an email saying I would be refunded. I never got the refund. I emailed customer care about it and she said to wait until close of the 3rd of February to see if I would receive my refund by then, I didn't. She said to email her if it wasn't there which I did and got no response.i rang the customer care line then the Thursday after and she told me she would be in touch the Friday to let me know about my refund I said no problem and I haven't heard from her since the Thursday and it's Wednesday today. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication and how hard it has been for me to get my money back. I won't be shopping here again after this.

"I still haven’t received the order"
I placed the order almost three weeks ago. There’s the issue with the orders but nobody can tell where’s this order now and when I’m going to receive it. I requested the refund and I was told that the order was dispatched and I can’t get refund. If the order was dispatched it should the tracking number?! However, the customer service can’t confirm the tracking number. It’s very disappointing.

"AVOID Similar story to so many"
AVOID Similar story to so many, order not arriving when they say it will , they blame customs however this would only be a fault with incorrect information being supplied , very poor service and response from them , I’m a long time customer however I’m going to look for an EU or Irish based retailer in future,

"Long delivery time"
I waited from 15 January 2023 to today 13 February for my order to arrive. Initially due to arrive by 31 January and then 3 February. Worst ever wait. The order received was correct and complete. However it came from England and not the Irish distribution centre as is normal. By the way is the Irish App ever going to work again? Also had an order last year which was partially delivered. I had to e mail to request refund. Promised by two customer assistants that it would be refunded. No money arrived. It was finally refunded after dealing with a third customer representative. Very bad customer service. All the problems are resolved now but I am still enquiring if the Irish App is going to be activated again??

"Cannot trust their online shop"
I ordered 4 items on 7th January. I received 2 items 2 weeks later and then the shop cancelled the 3rd item due to its availability and refunded me only for that item. Last week, I inquired about the 4th item and they replied saying the 4th item has also been cancelled and I have not been charged for it. The only cancellation and refund notification I got was clearly only for the 3rd item. I cannot believe that they can’t even see what item has been cancelled and refunded.

I had another online order before above for pick up from their store and its dispatch status got never updated until I followed up with customer service.

Prices and offers are attractive but I can never trust their online shop.

"A month and no order"
I have been a customer of holland and barrett for many years, living 80kms from the nearest store i have always used the online ordering facility. I placed an order 13th Jan, and i still have not received my order. I have been in contact with what cannot be described as customer service four times. Each time i get the same scripted answer, a carbon copy word for word, about delays in the Dublin depot. Now i understand that these things do happen, however when i ask for a refund, for items not yet dispatched, i am refused. €80 i spent. If this were any other website, i would assume it was a scam! And you guessed it not even an apology from four different customer service agents.
Never again. I regularly spend around this amount every couple of months, i think an amount not to be sneezed at, however its quite clear holland and barrett do not treat customers as they should. So a month after ordering, no items and out of pocket, i have given up the idea of ever receiving the order, and have made a promise never to use this company again... i wonder how many more people have had the same experience.

"Deceiving advertising"
Deceiving advertising, delivery does not take what they claim it does. was told my order has left the warehouse couple day ago and I am still waiting for it. As a result of that I am not going to receive it in time for what I need it for. Very disappointed.

"Absolutely disgusted by the service I…"
Absolutely disgusted by the service I have received. Placed my order on the 13th of january. Delivery was meant to be 2-5 days however it was not even dispatched until the 27 th of january. The order was split in 2. Delivery date after dispatch was the 30th of jan. I received 2 smaller items and 1 keeps showing as dispatched.contacted customer service twice but the only response I got was keep waiting! It is now February 11th and I still have not received my item. Instead ive been told that because the order is "dispatched" it’s anpost fault as they have issue with deliveries which is an absolute lie as I have received other orders made with different merchant with anpost with no issues.basically im left still waiting with no order and no refund to purchase the item elsewhere. Nor can anyone tell when it actually will be received! And customer service keeps saying how concerned they are and there is nothing they can do. Absolutely disgraceful!

It took them till the 3rd of February to even dispatch my order
10 days later my order still have not been delivered
Very bad service from H&B and I will never ordered from them again

Shop in blanch and the new shop in Navan staff in both shops are so pleasant and helpful it’s plain to see they are there for the job and not just the money
